Our Programs

Who can play social wheelchair basketball?

Anyone who can push a manual wheelchair can play! You don’t have to have a disability. We also have some wheelchairs available, if you don’t have your own sports chair.

Where do we play?

What are the rules?

Social basketball is at The Lights Community Centre, Lights View. Social games are every Tuesday nights from 6:10pm.

The rules of wheelchair basketball are very similar to running basketball. The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation has a great ariticle on the rules HERE. A complete rule book can be downloaded HERE
