The South Australian Wheelchair Basketball Association promotes and supports the sport of wheelchair basketball for South Australians from our junior and social programs through to our elite team in the National Wheelchair Basketball League,

FAQ

Who can play social wheelchair basketball?

Anyone who can push a manual wheelchair can play! You don’t have to have a disability to play. We also have some wheelchairs available, if you don’t have your own sports chair.

Where do we play?

Social basketball is at The Lights Community Centre, Lights View. Social games are every Tuesday nights from 6:30pm.
The Bearcats NWBL team hold their home games at Pt Adelaide Recreation Centre, home of the West Adelaide Bearcats. 

What are the Rules?

The rules of wheelchair basketball are very similar to running basketball. The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation has a great ariticle on the rules HERE
